Eligibility
- Jadal is open to all individuals who submit an abstract related to the theme “Muslim Women Navigating Theology, Ethics, and Society”.
- Submissions must be original work and not previously published.

Abstract Submission
- All abstracts must be submitted online through the provided submission portal by 17 July 2025.
- Submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee, and acceptance notifications will be sent by 2 September 2025.

Selection and Acceptance
- The decision of the selection committee is final and based on the relevance, originality, and quality of the abstract.
- Accepted authors will be required to submit their full papers by 30 November 2025.

Summit Participation
- Accepted authors are required to present their paper at Jadal.
- Presentations will be scheduled by the conference organizers.

Travel and Accommodation
- Al-Mujadilah will cover the cost of an economy class flight and hotel accommodation for accepted speakers.
- Flights and hotels will be booked by Al-Mujadilah, and changes or upgrades will not be accommodated.
- Any additional expenses (e.g., meals, local transportation, personal expenses) are the responsibility of the participant.

Publication and Rights
- By submitting an abstract, authors grant Jadal the right to publish the abstract and full paper in conference proceedings, both in print and online.
- Authors retain the copyright to their work.

Plagiarism/self-plagiarism/ duplicate submissions
- Submission of a manuscript in Jadal implies that the work has not been published and is not under simultaneous consideration for publication anywhere else.
- We take any plagiarism very seriously and We reserve the right to check any submissions through appropriate plagiarism checking tools.
- Submissions will be rejected if they contain suspected plagiarism. If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, and if there is any suspicion of plagiarism, we expect our partners, readers, reviewers, and editors to raise these concerns with us.

Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor throughout the conference.
- Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the conference.

Cancellations and Substitutions
- If an accepted speaker is unable to attend, they must notify the organizers as soon as possible. Substitutions may be permitted with prior approval.
- In case of cancellation by the organizers, a full refund of registration fees will be provided (if applicable), but no compensation for travel expenses will be made.

Liability
- Al-Mujadilah is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during Jadal.
